Briefe (ca. 1/2 S. in 8, Doppelblatt, und ca. 1/2 S. klein-8, jeweils ohne Textverlust am oberen Rand rechts beschnitten) mit U. (voller Namenszug), O. u. Dat., Berlin, 17.9.1888 bzw. 15.1.1897; im frühen Brief an den Autor eines Theaterstückes der Kritik an "Direktor Barnays" (= Ludwig Barnay, 1842-1924, dt. Schauspieler u. Theaterintendant) Arbeitsweise geübt hatte. Frenzel: "Ich habe mit ihm als Freund wohl zu thun, aber gar nichts mit seinem Theater." Der spätere Brief an "Lieber Rudolf!" anläßlich Übersendung seines "Artikels über Gutzkow zu beliebigem Gebrauch."
